Shipping policy
Supply and delivery
- We aim to deliver within three (3) business days following your order, and will contact you prior to delivery. GFH cannot be liable for a delivery outside of the estimated timeframe or for any loss, cost, charge or expense arising from delayed delivery.
- Our delivery fees are displayed at checkout and are a flat fee per order. Large orders or bulky items may attract additional fees.
- The displayed fee is based on the following assumptions:
- there is good access for the unloading of items, including clear access to lifts (where relevant)
- you have alerted GFH to any potential unloading issues prior to delivery such as clearance heights in loading docks and security clearance (where relevant).
- The items on our website are mostly located in our warehouse. In some instances, the items will be coming from our corporate partner sites and delays may occur.
- By accepting your order, a contract for purchase is formed. From that point on you are not able to cancel your order because of change of mind without written consent from GFH. Charges may apply for cancellation.
- GFH Direct requires that you or another responsible person sign for the delivery at the delivery address. In the event that you or another responsible person are unable to sign for the products on delivery, we will not deliver the products. You may be liable for a further delivery charge for second and subsequent deliveries.
- Additional long-distances fees will apply for deliveries outside the metropolitan area.
- Further charges may be applied should our delivery staff encounter any issues which cause undue delays, such as stairs to climb.
Reassembly services
- You have the option to choose reassembly on certain items such as boardroom tables, meeting tables and workstations. GFH’s delivery contractor will provide this service onsite at your nominated address. Additional charges apply for this service.
- If you don’t choose reassembly, you will be responsible for assembling the items and any subsequent costs incurred.
- The optional reassembly fee will be outlined in the product description, and available for selection on the product page.
Pick-up in person
Where you opt to pick up an item in person, the following will apply:
- You will first pay for the item in full via the GFH Direct website.
- Items are usually available for collection within 24 hours from the time you placed the order. However, we will confirm that the order is ready for collection.
- If, on inspection, the product is not materially different from how it was described on the website, it is not possible to obtain a full refund because you incorrectly estimated it would be fit for the purpose you intend, unless that intention has been communicated to us prior to the purchase and we warranted it to be so.
