About us

Each year in Australia more than 30,000 tonnes of left-over office furniture is generated from office moves and refurbishments. Less than 20% of this is kept out of landfill despite many of these items still being in very good condition and inherently high in utility and resource value. 

So in 2018 we started Green Furniture Hub to play our part in solving this problem and create a reuse revolution. 

Since then we've been busy building realtionships with corporates, leasing agents, facility managers, project managers and others, to intercept this furniture before it goes to waste. We then give it a new lease of life with other businesses via our online marketplace (GFH Direct) and logistics services at a fraction of what it would have cost to buy new. Customers tell us they love the fact they're saving money while feeling good about helping the environment too. It’s a win, win, and is what motivates us to keep at it!

Today, we have a passionate team operating in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. We’ve helped hundreds of customers (including charities) access quality furniture items and participate in the circular economy.
