Our online marketplace facilitates the reuse of furniture and materials, fostering a circular economy and minimising waste. These items no longer need to be disposed, we facilitate reuse products at a fraction of the cost of new items. As well as our refurbish service where your old chairs can be refurbished with quality parts for a second life.
Accountable

Through material stripping and waste management we had an average of 85% landfil diversion in 2023 and hoping to achieve a higher result in 2024. After your project we provide full sustainability reporting in accordance to the Better Building Partnership reports and we provide an equivellant saved carbon calculation.

Our inventory is frequently updated, so you'll always find what you're looking for. We offer flexible delivery options and FFE sourcing services for sustainable fit-outs.

Our Story

In 2018 Green Furniture Hub, was created to solve the problem of commercial furniture waste with over 30,000 tonnes of furniture going into landfill per year.

Our mission is to create a reuse revolution free of waste. Since then we've been busy building relationships with corporates, leasing agents, facility managers, project managers and others, to intercept this furniture before it goes to waste. We have been involved in some fantastic projects in tier one buildings, working with small businesses to create re-use fit outs and supporting our local community by providing no-cost furniture to charities and schools.

In 2022, we discovered rehoming was not enough, there were a number of pieces that were not able to be rehomed and still destined for landfill. We implemented a recycling strategy in partnership with vetted recycling partners focusing on up-cycling materials that are at end of life. We are now able to fully recycling workstations and portions, office chairs and other building materials such as timber, glass, fabric, plastics, gyprock, and more.
